Outfits Icon
Outfits is the 7th customization option added to the game.
The very first beginnings can be seen in Vr.0.7.91.0 where Cuztomise had an Outfits category but it was blocked (can be seen on the stream "Rigging and Animating a Cartoon Cow in Maya LT - Shotgun Farmers Day 112"). And at the beginning of Early Acces, the tab was completely removed.
The first similarity of outfit happened during the Winter Harvest Event 2017. Then all the players wore sweaters.
The first possibility of any independent interaction with outfit was added in Summer Harvest Update Vr.0.7 (07/12/2018). Then added femaly body type. The function was in the Body option (at that time it was called Face). Back then the body types were called Grandpa and Grandma.
Starting from the stream "This is not a bug you are !play !freesub" outfits can be seen in the test room on the backgrond.
Outfits was added in Winter Harvest Update 2018 Vr.0.8.2 (12/21/2018).
Outfits is located in the Farmer category.
Outfits are the outfits the player wears. The player always has Default Farmer selected by default.
Almost every outfit has an alternative version.

There are only 80 outfits in the game (6 Free, 8 For Level, 6 For Tokens, 19 For fulfilling the condition, 20 In Item Shop, 6 In Cattle Pass Season 1, 4 In Cattle Pass Season 2, 3 In Cattle Pass Season 3, 4 In Cattle Pass Season 4, 2 in Bok 'N' Roll Supporter Pack).

Changes[]
- At the first appearance, Outfits had icons (Older icons), but in Very Berry Update Vr.1.3 (02/12/2020) the icons were changed to new ones (Old). In the Easter Event Update 2019 Vr.1.0.2.1 (04/23/2019), the icons changed for the last time.
- Initially, Werewolf (now Legacy Werewolf) could not wear hats, but with Hellish Harvester Update Vr.1.3.2 (03/16/2020) this opportunity became available.
- Body type selection icons have been changed to letters in Haunted Harvest Event 2021 Vr.1.7.7 (10/29/2021).
- In Haunted Harvest Update 2021 Vr.1.7.7 (10/29/2021), the ability to change eye color was added for Bone Meal.
- In Winter Event 2021 Vr.1.7.9 (12/20/2021) Santa Farmer got redesigned.
- In Season 2 - To the Moon! Vr.2.2.0 (07/14/2023) Fancy Farmer has been redesigned to look like Anniversary Farmer.
- Bun Bun, Zom Bun, and Snow Bun have had their icons changed in Season 4: Big City Farmer (10/18/2024).
- Among us Items will no longer appear in Featured Items due to contract expiration (This was announced at the Buffalo Game Space X-Stream 2024).
Interesting facts[]
- Starting from the stream "This is not a bug you are! play! freesub" in test room on the background in the test room, we can see the skin for joining the Discord server, as well as two other unknown.
- Starting from the stream "Shotgun Farmers Dev Stream - Pumpkin Time" we can see outfits in test room on the background. Some of them were added to the game and others were not.
- On the stream "Shotgun Farmers Dev Stream - Making Skins!" it was shown that they planned to add outfit to the game for joining the official discord server.
- Initially, Dathi De Nogla, H20Delirious, Terroriser, Vanoss Gaming and SideArms4Reason were hats. If the Player wore one of these hats while he was wearing the Default (Legacy Farmer), then his Outfit changed. In the future, this feature was removed, and in Shotgun Farmers 2.0 (01/ 20/2023) outfits were merged with hats and made available in Outfits except for SideArms4Reason which currently only has a hat.
- Werewolf (now Legacy Werewolf) based on concept art by Baconandx.
- In Winter Event Vr.1.2 (12/19/2019), the Bitgamer head was added and if the player was also wearing the Default(Legacy Farmer), then the player changed into the Bitgamer outfit. This outfit was later removed but was brought back in Season 2 - To the Moon! Vr.2.2.0 (07/14/2023).
- In some early streams, Bun Bun's icon was shown as the Vietnam badge.
- Gnome Costume, Legacy Santa, Snowman Costume, Fake Bunny, Cornstalker Costume, Legacy Werewolf, Holy Grain, Hellish Harvester, Bun Bun and Fancy Farmer used to change color depending on the team (Initially, the wings of Hellish Harvester did not change the color of the wings; this was fixed in Easter Event Update 2020 Vr.1.3 (04/10/2020)), this was removed in Hotfix Vr.1.6.3.42 (10/26/2020).
- Based on streams and GIFs, Zom Bun's bitten off body parts were supposed to be red, but upon release, the bitten off parts turned brown. But on the official discord server, the Zom Bun emoji remained with a red bitten part.
- The Chicken Hunt banner shows a butcher with an outfit that was not added to the game (this is most likely just an artist's invention).
- Santa Farmer initially had a different texture, but in Winter Harvest 2021 the texture was changed, later in Haunted Harvest 2023 the skin was returned as a separate skin at the request of Huff.
- Daithi De Nogla, H20Delirious, Terroriser, Vanossgaming, Bitgamer and Xplodin Apple were made in honor of YouTubers of the same name.
- Move or Die - Joe is part of a crossover with Move or Die. Furryosa is part of a crossover with Atomicrop.
- Some items in the Item Shop use the B icon.
- The Scarekaw is depicted with a hat on the icon, but the hat must be purchased separately in the game.
- Matthew Casillan made some 3D Models that weren't added to the game.
- In 2022 in Twitter, Sean Hicks posted a concept with a planned crossover with Battletoads 2020 (3d model made by roysiphus). The crossover didn't happen.
- According to Qazi, the Fin skin will appear in the game in the future.
- Crewmate is part of a collaboration with the game "Among Us".
- Bridal Baler and Groomed Grovesman were made in honor of QaziTV's wedding anniversary.
- Dapper Farmer is based on concept art by Ramo.
- In the artstaion of Élisa Maillard concept art of outfits that were not made were published.
- Bokman's alternate color scheme is a reference to 1940s Batman.
- Pork Rind was added to Regular Items at the request of VVValera.
- If a player wears Pigskin Player, then in the match the player will have his own number on the texture, which will depend on which player entered the game (first, second, etc.), from 01 to 10, if a player leaves the match, then the next player who joins will receive the next number, and not the number of the player who left. Also, the player in the main menu will have the number 18.
- If the player puts on Bokman, then in the Hall of Farm the player's statue will become in the pose emote I Need A Hero
- Bok 'N' Roll items can be seen on the cover of a magazine in Forestside before they are released in the game.
- Veggiemite Invader can be seen on the cover of a comic in Forestside and Riverside Night.
- On the Riverside Night map, behind the hangar on the side of the tall building, there is a Totally Normal Farmer hiding
- Some outfits were known before their appearances:
- Holy Grain and Hellish Harvester were featured in one of the TikToks before they were released.
- Ye Olde Farmer was shown in several TikToks long before his appearance. Moreover, in the first version of 3D there was a special face model.
- Zom Bun was developed on the stream "Making A New Skin For Shotgun Farmers!".
- Bone Meal was known long before it appeared on Tiktok. Much later, several posts about Bone Meal were published on Twitter.
- Soni Shinobi revealed at "LAST STREAM OF 2020! - Shotgun Farmers Developer Stream".
- Bunsie became known in Twitter posts.
- About Werewolf (New) became known six months before its release, in a Twitter post.
- RGB Farmer became known for the first time in Twitter post.
- Neon became known for the first time in a Twitter post.
- Also RGB Farmer, Neon and XB-002 were revealed on "Day 1,917 - Shotgun Farmers Developer Stream".
- The PS5 outfit was not added to the game - the white ninja, there is also a poster shown on the streams "Shotgun Farmers - GMO Update Stream! Mutators & The Onionade!" and "Day 1,917 - Shotgun Farmers Developer Stream".
- Gingerdead became known in several Twitter posts.
- Ugly Sweater was seen in the banner and the trailer for Winter Event 2021 Vr.1.7.9 (12/20/2021).
- A blurred teaser of Honey Harvester in 2019 was shown on Discord. There was also a hint in one of the Twitter posts.
- A teaser for Deep Sea Farmer was posted on Twitter. The full Deep Sea Farmer was shown in the video "Revealing the NEW MAP for Shotgun Farmers!". The same video featured Choco Bun.
- Pork Rind was featured on a stream during development and was also featured on one of the TikToks.
- Count Cropula was featured on some TikToks long before it was in the game.
- In 2021, a Twitter post suggested the idea of a crossover with Among Us. Concept art was also shown. Crossover happened in the future.
- Corn Countess was accidentally added to one of the Hotfixes a month before its release; it was a bug that was later fixed. Later it was shown on stream.
- Dapper Farmer was shown on the stream about Haunted Harvest 2023.
- Skier could be seen on Matthew Casillan's personal website.
- Bokman was in several promotional images.
- The image of Bok Star was posted on the official discord server long before it appeared. Also 3D models of Bok 'N' Roller and Bok Star were published on Jules Joire's Artstation

- Wings of Holy Grain move by themselves.
- The wings of the Hellish Harvester move when the player moves. It also has a tail that moves by itself.
- Bun Bun, Zom Bun, Snow Bun, Bunsie and Furryosa have physics ears. Also Zom Bun tongue has physics.
- Soni Shinobi's headbands have physics.
- Move or Die - Joe tongue has physics.
- Pork Rind's ears and snout have physics.
- If the player is wearing Neon Shovel and Ne0n Glasses while wearing Neon, these items will change their coloration.
- If the player is wearing Laugh Hammer and Laugh Hat while wearing Smile Smile, these items will change their coloration.
- If the player is wearing Torch of Freedom and Crown of Pigerty while wearing Lady Pigetry, these items will change their coloration.
- Bokman's comb, beard and cape have physics.
