Pets icon
Pets is the 13th customization option added to the game.
The first hint was in one of the May 2020 tiktok, where we were shown a 3D model of the QaziTV cat - Winnie (later the cat will be called Mew Mew).
The second hint was in Discord when Qazi showed an image of Bok Pet in Assets.
The third hint were in the TikTok video "Quack!" (04/01/2023) because the animations of Quack Quack correspond to Quack Quack pet.
The first big announcement of Pets was in the video "What do you think of baby Oink?" (07/20/2022).
The second big announcement was in the video "Switch Update, New Map Reveal, Pets and more!".
In subsequent Tiktoks, we were shown more pets.
Pets was added in Shotgun Farmers 2.0(01/20/2023).
Pets is located in the Farmer category.
Pets are creatures that follow the player and are always to the right of the player.
When the player dies, the pet will disappear.
Pets has a feature that allows you to show pets only during Emotes. But they will still appear on the victory screen.
The pet can be renamed. The name of the pet will be displayed on top of the pet.
In Hotfix v2.4.4.30 (07/02/2025) the ability to select up to four favorite pets that will appear in the Hall Of Farm was added
The pet will sit behind the player when capturing an Oink Oink in Capture the Pig. Also, when the player is ziplining on Forestside, the pet will be on top.

There are only 75 pets in the game (1 For Level, 1 For Tokens, 11 For fulfilling the condition, 41 In Item Shop, 6 In Cattle Pass Season 1, 5 In Cattle Pass Season 2, 5 In Cattle PassSeason 3, 4 In Cattle PassSeason 4, 1 Special).

- Bok Bok , Vroom Vroom, Hay?, Gnomey, Quack Quack, Kaw Kaw, Zom Quack, Pumpgeist, Mini Foot, Mini Grizz, Itsy Bitsy, Poultrygeist, Mini Quenn,Mini Reaper, Snow Bok, Ice Crawler, Mini Yeti, Mini Widow, Mini Kramp, Stone Bok, Mopmop and Mini Horse are either scaled down or reused copies of their originals.
- The Suitcase is based on a concept made by VVValera.
- Old Mini Grizz icon does not have a hammer in his hand, but it is in the game.
- The Baby Bok was originally featured on TikTok on 12/28/2020 and Twitter post and was not originally intended as a pet. Later, Baby Bok was in one of the Twitter posts.
- The Baby Bok concept was made by Torkil Marvik Bidnes/Lazersofa. The Bok Bot concept made by Sean Hicks.
- Rocky's idea was suggested by Tiktok user therealslimdwarf564044.
- The Mew Mew is based on QaziTV's cat - Winnie.
- Initially, all pets in the Item Shop were common rarity but starting with Kaw Kaw, pets that appear in Featured Items become epic rarity.
- Élisa Maillard published the concept of Forestside on Artstation, among which you can see an unadded small bear.
- 05/26/2023 Rocky randomly appeared in the Item Shop for 4000 bokbucks. The bug was quickly fixed. And everyone who bought Rocky, could request a bokbucks refund in a special channel on the official Discord server.
- Bok Bot is based on the concept made by skully_and_dave.
- Pets may not initially appear on the victory screen if the special feature is enabled, but after Season 2 - To the Moon! Vr.2.2.0 (07/14/2023) pets now always appear on the victory screen.
- In Season 2 - To the Moon! Vr.2.2.0 (07/14/2023) most icons have been changed.
- The "PlushBok" Pet Is currently the most rare pet in the game, having been only available during a short period in which Makeship was doing a bokbok plushie Campaign in collaboration with QaziTv and Shotgun Farmers. Whoever bought the plush was given a one-time use code, as the plushies would never be sold again.
- Plush Bok can be found on Northside (There used to be another model where Plush Bok was).
- Mini Crewmate is part of a collaboration with the game "Among Us".
- Itsy Bitsy in Arachnophobia mode changes model but not icons.
- Cleopigtra was featured on Twitter before release.
- Lil' Grazer was based on a concept by Simon.
- Lil' Grazer was originally planned to be a reward for Surviving 30 Graveside Horde Mode Waves on Nightmare but this was changed before the update came out, but the original unlock method was accidentally left in the changelog on the official discord server.
- Skele Bok is an older version of Bok Bok. It was used in Haunted Harvest 2018 and 2019. The idea for the return was suggested by Zero.
- The idea for Mini Quenn was proposed by p3t3rN_819.
- The idea for the Mini Queen and Mini Reaper came from Farmer Joe.
- Boo Bok got a redesign in Haunted Harvest 2023 v2.2.2 (10/20/2023).
- Handy is a reference to The Thing from the Addams Family.
- Frosty Rock is based on the concept made by skully_and_dave.
- Boo Boink was originally called Spoink, but this was an error that was soon corrected.
- Boo Boink is based on the concept made by SuperJavi2469.
- Some dogs were featured in one Tik Tok video.
- Mossy Rocky could be seen on the stream "Among Us Crossover Reveal Stream!" before he appeared in the game.
- Boo Boink originally had a badly cropped icon, the icon was fixed in Season 4: Big City Farmer (10/18/2024).
- Golden Gnome originally had a different icon, the icon was changed in Season 4: Big City Farmer (10/18/2024)
- Mossy Rocky was added to Regular Items at the request of Discord user DDL-Monki.
- Among us Items will no longer appear in Featured Items due to contract expiration (This was announced at the Buffalo Game Space X-Stream 2024).
- Moon Rocky, Molten Rocky, Golden Rocky and Mossy Rocky were based on concept art by TP.
- Golden Bok is based on the concept made by Farmer Joe.
- Mini White Horse was released on July 19, 2025 as a Featured Items only on the Switch, where it replaced Golden Bok. This was due to the Switch being on an outdated version at the time, which did not yet have Golden Bok in the files.
